John-Paul Jordan is a former Legionnaire with the French Foreign Legion after which he joined the British armed forces and successfully becoming a member of the SAS, serving in operations in Afghanistan and awarded for his actions in combat.
Following his military service, he worked for international media organisations in war zones, clandestinely moving journalists in and out of some of the world’s most dangerous hotspots. John-Paul was the only security advisor at the U.S Consulate in Benghazi, Libya Immediately after the attack and subsequent evacuation, piecing together much of the attack with his investigation for various news teams. After returning from the disaster-relief work on the ground in the aftermath of the Rama Plaza garment factory collapse in Dhaka, Bangladesh, doing the work he so relished, the walls of his own life came tumbling down. His injuries from war took their toll.
As part of his own recovery he has written about his experiences to share his story with others. John-Paul Is an incredible inspiration to many.
